Enjoying a successful career with the Sears Company in the mid 1970's, Harold Wilson was transferred from Memphis, Tennessee to Chicago, Illinois. Being a southern boy born and raised Harold wasn't too excited about the news but being a young man with dreams of success and since moving to Chicago did indeed mean he was climbing the corporate ladder; he packed up his family and headed north. After a couple of years in the "windy city" Sears changed its company format and Chicago was no longer the place to be so Harold decided it was time to head back home, back to the south. Only question was what was he going to do when he got there. After much prayer and deliberation He decided he was going to buy a business the next question was what type of business, so he called his brother in-law who was living in Tupelo, Mississippi and asked him to be looking for a business that was for sale in the area. A short time later his brother in-law called him to tell him about a man who owned a mobile home business an had just had a heart attack and was looking to either sell the business or take on a partner to carry part of the load. Harold drove down from Chicago a deal was struck and that is how Harold Wilson came to be in the Manufactured Housing Business now thirty one years later and with the help of his son Ken Wilson and the many valued employees over the years along with his core belief of excellent service both before and after the sale he has built a successful business with eight different locations and has become the largest family owned dealer in the State of Mississippi.
